Techincal Support Representatives
(Central Visayas Region)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
IT technical support officers monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of a customer. They may install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or by email. Depending on the scope of support, a technical support officer’s role may span one or more areas of expertise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Mass Communications, Others or equivalent.
At least 0 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Years Experience Employee, Fresh Grad/Less Than 1 Year specializing in Helpdesk / Technical Support or equivalent
Permanent / Full Time position available.
installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults; replacing parts as required;
providing support, including procedural documentation;
following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals (e.g., software developers);
